Thanks for referring instructors to Blended Teaching. By clicking I agree below, you enroll in the program under these terms.
1. Who can refer
2. How to make a referral
Two paths count:
- In-portal — submit the referral form in this section (this is how we track it).
- Email introduction — introduce us directly to another instructor via email, adding
hey@blended-teaching.comor your Blended Teaching contact to the thread. We'll count these too, but please also submit through the portal after the introduction so it appears in your dashboard.
3. What earns a fee
You earn a fee only when Blended Teaching, at our sole discretion, marks your referral as Converted — meaning the referred instructor has become a paying customer and revenue has started to flow.
Not eligible:
- Referrals to instructors who are already Blended Teaching customers.
- Referrals that another partner made first.
- Referrals that don't result in revenue within 180 daysof being Accepted. If nothing has come through in that window, we'll mark the referral Expired and no fee is owed.
Referrals in Submitted or Accepted status don't earn anything yet — a fee accrues only after Conversion.
4. How much you earn
Your standard fee is 10% of the net revenue Blended Teaching receives from the referred instructor during their first twelve monthsas a customer. "Net revenue" means what we actually receive after refunds, credits, and chargebacks.
Not included in the fee calculation:
- Subscription renewals after the twelve-month window
- Support, implementation, training, or professional-services fees
We may agree to a different fee percentage for a specific referral in advance — if so, we'll set it before you accept the arrangement.
5. The twelve-month window
6. How we pay
Your dashboard shows your accrued, paid, and outstanding balances at any time. We typically pay accrued fees on a per-semester basis — after each semester ends, once we have the final numbers in — in USD, typically via Stripe or wire. We may pay more or less frequently at our discretion, and we may require a completed IRS Form W-9 before your first payment.
You're responsible for any taxes owed on referral fees — we are separate, independent parties, and this program doesn't create an employment or agency relationship.
